Hi, I hope the past two weeks have been kind to you. I’ve had a birthday during that time … and for once, the sun shone! We had lunch out at our favourite café on the cliffs at Southbourne. It was so warm we sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed the views over to the Isle of Wight and to Swanage. I felt very blessed😊

Crochet Drawstring Bag Patterns
In this roundup I’ve chosen patterns that showcase a variety of designs and highlight a range of techniques, including Tunisian crochet, tapestry crochet, and creative stitch patterns like chevrons and granny squares.

CAL
One CAL has caught my eye lately, the Homeward Bound Mosaic Blanket CAL hosted by Simply Melanie Jane. I thought you might like this one!
The blanket is worked in overlay mosaic sections that feature houses, trees, mountains, clouds, and birds, with textured stitch sections in between.
This free CAL runs for 6 weeks from January 27-March 3, 2025. Each week, on Monday, a new section of the blanket releases.
