Crochet Cardigan Pattern Release
Free PDF download limited time + Spring Event Free PDFs + Self-Care Bingo
Hello 👋 I’m back this week with news of my latest pattern release (and free PDF download for a limited time). I’m also sharing the Spring into Sales event (free PDFs for quick patterns that sell well at markets but of course can be made by anyone) and I’ve added a free resource in my self-care library.
Thank you for voting in the poll for the home décor items you’re interested in for future roundups. I loved the responses via email too. It’s helping me plan ahead! The results look like this (from most popular to least): Table Runners, Storage Baskets, Wreaths, Rugs, Hanging Storage, Hanging Baskets, Dishcloths, Coasters, Kitchen Scrubbies.
I’m starting to work on the roundup for table runners and I hope you find inspiration when I share it with you next time.
Can you help me with my next pattern release? I have a couple of options and will add the anonymous poll at the end. Thank you.
Self-Care Bingo Card
I know you found it helpful in the past when I shared my free self-care resource library. I do add to it occasionally 😊 This week I created a self-care bingo card which you can access for free (Google sheets – use online, offline or print out). I’ve filled the bingo card with activities but you can swap it out for your own. It’s a fun way to put yourself first – and if you love checking things off, you’ll feel motivated for sure.
I’ve added a fun feature by coding the squares so that once you’ve completed the activity and clicked the checkbox, the square changes colour and the text strikes through 🤓 Easy to see where you are with your bingo game. You can find out more about it on this post here.
Crochet Cardigan Pattern Release
Evie is my favourite cardigan ever! The chunky yarn is so soft and the oversized fit makes it such a comfortable wear.
Perfect for wearing as a jacket on spring days or layer it for added warmth in the colder months, you’ll get plenty of opportunities to wear yours.
I’ve added customizing options – if you don’t want the button closure you can easily alter the button band; you can leave off the hood or pockets; you can change the length.
My chunky cardigan pattern works up relatively quickly with minimal shaping for the fronts, sleeves and hood. You can reach out in the Facebook group for help if you get stuck (I’m not receiving notifications for the group so don’t worry if you don’t get replies straight away).
I hope you love it as much as I do 💚

Spring into Sales Event
Whether you’re planning your makes for selling at markets or want a quick make in-between projects, I thought you’d like to know about this event.
The crochet patterns work up fast (each one can be made in under two hours, with many taking less than an hour) and you get the chance to download a PDF for free.
A pattern is added each day and you’ll have 24 hours to grab the free download for that day.
A couple of days have passed already but the event is running until February 14th 2025 so still time to check to see if there’s a pattern you like. You could check out the days already expired to see if the pattern is free on the designer’s blog and bookmark to make later.
Click here to visit the event page.

Next Pattern Release
I’d love your help with my next pattern release please. I have two granny stitch sweaters I need to decide between! No photos yet (they’re designed and crocheted but still need behind-the-scenes work).
Option 1) Construction in one piece worked from the ribbed bottom up, splitting for the front and back at the armhole. Sleeves worked directly into the armhole. Worked in a self-striping yarn (shades of blue and orange).
Option 2) Construction working back and sleeve back first in one piece, rejoining yarn at neck and working front and sleeve front in one piece. Slip stitch to join side and sleeve seams. Hood worked directly onto sweater. Worked in one colour, marl (warm dough).
Please choose option 1 or 2 in the poll below. Thanks!
That’s it from me this week. I’ll be in touch in a couple of weeks with the table runner roundup.
Have a fab couple of weeks.
