🌟New Crochet Pattern Release: One Piece Sweater
My Coastal Breeze pullover pattern is now free on the blog
I’m excited to share my newest design with you (a little earlier than I said before!). My Coastal Breeze Sweater is now free on the blog.
If you enjoy simple stitches and garments that are comfortable to wear every day, this one might be just the project for you.
I’m running a promotion on Ravelry – the first 100 downloads are free.
Coastal Breeze Crochet Sweater
My Coastal Breeze Sweater is an easy crochet pullover worked in one piece using double crochet stitches.
The relaxed design makes it a great project for confident beginners so if you want to try crocheting a sweater without complicated shaping, this design is perfect.
My pattern includes six sizes and two length options, so you can choose the fit you prefer.
I used a variegated DK yarn with long colour changes, which creates soft stripes across the sweater without needing to switch colours. Solid colours work too!
It’s the kind of sweater that’s easy to crochet and even easier to wear and I hope you like this one 😊
How the Free PDF Download Works
The promotion for the sweater pullover is running now and is available for the first 100 downloads. Once the 100 have been claimed, the promotion will be over and the code will not work (the code is already linked on the image – see below).
You’ll need to visit the pattern on my blog (link below) and once on the pattern, click on the image that says ‘Free Ravelry Download Click here to Redeem the Code.’ You’ll be taken to ‘Redeem a Coupon Code’ on Ravelry. Click ‘use this coupon’ to be taken to the shopping basket on Ravelry. Click ‘check out now’ and the pattern will be in your library. Don’t check out unless it is showing zero!
Clicking on the link below will take you to the pattern on my blog.

April 2026
I’m hoping to publish a blanket and a granny square top for the summer (the top is constructed a little bit differently).
Currently Working On …
I’m sewing ends (and you know how I feel about sewing in ends hahaha) for:
Short sleeve cardigan
Short sleeve lacy top
Blanket
I’m hoping to get the garments ready for May!
Plans for …
Cotton sweater (I have started this and the extra yarn I need is being delivered this morning)
Cotton poncho (I have the yarn - yippee).
I’m currently researching dress styles (I have yarn for this but it might not happen this year …)
Life is a bit more relaxed at home now Clover is out and about – although it’s exhausting watching him every second when we’re out so we’re aware of what he’s putting in his mouth. So far, there’s been spring flowers from our garden, lots of stones from pavements, a 5p and his current favourite is bees. He hasn’t been stung yet and panics at the buzzing in his mouth but that hasn’t put him off! It’s the movement that catches his eye. Apparently, this environmental exploring with their mouths stops around 8 months (he’s 17 weeks now). Please send strength hahaha
Sam (our eldest) and Lily came to stay over the weekend. Clover loved it and I think they left a bit of their hearts behind too 😊
Don’t forget to let me know if there are any patterns you’d love to work on in 2026 and if there are any roundups of patterns you’d be interested in.
I’ll be back in touch again on 20th March.
Happy crocheting
Shaz 🌸
