First off, I have an apology … I thought the Baby Shower hop were all free patterns but it turns out that SOME patterns are free to download (like the Over Brook Baby Bloomers and Rolling Hills Baby Blanket) and some patterns are 50% off. My day on 6th May will be a free download. I don’t know which patterns from other designers will be free or a discount so it’s worth keeping an eye on the main post on Ambassador Crochet.
Lacy Summer Cardigan
New Pattern Release
I really enjoyed working on this cardigan – the design and maths just went smoothly – one of those projects! It’s lovely and lightweight and so easy to wear! We’ve had a lot of sunshine this weekend but not warm enough yet and I can’t wait until it is. This is going to be one of my favourites.
It’s easy to alter the length of your cardigan – just work more or less row repeats before the design splits for the fronts and back – and easy to alter the sleeve length too.
Free to view on my website (ad supported) I’m running a promotion on Ravelry until the end of the day tomorrow (23rd April BST). No download limit! Visit the pattern on my website and click on the image that says ‘Free Ravelry Download Click here to Redeem.’ You’ll be taken to 'Redeem a Coupon Code.' Click 'use this coupon' to be taken to the shopping basket on Ravelry. Click 'check out now' and the pattern will be in your library. Don’t check out unless it is showing zero! Any problems, let me know.
If you like the pattern, it would be helpful if you could click on the blue heart on the bottom right of the pattern on my website. It helps others find the pattern too. Thank you.
Crochet A Long (CAL)
Another CAL came to my notice this past week, the King Cole ‘Woodland Wonders’ blanket. This one looks super cute “the middle section of squares is adorned with sunflowers, fairy-tale mushrooms and a sleeping fox.” Awww, love it!
From the 7th of June 2024 the pattern will be published in 6 weekly instalments. Click here for the main page to find out more and join the Facebook CAL Group.
Last Week
Did you have a browse of the tank top patterns? Was there a particular design you liked? Any you bookmarked to make for yourself? I’d love to know if you found it helpful.
Are there any patterns you would like me to research?
Coming Soon
I’m still trying to catch up with myself … that flu-type bug last week? Turned out to be Covid and I’m still testing positive after 8 days. I’m ok now, just very tired and can’t taste anything! But it’s put me behind.
