Thank you for your support with my granny stitch cardigan pattern release last week. I would love to see how it makes up for you! You’re welcome to post on my Facebook Page or message me on Twitter or Instagram. I am planning on crocheting another granny stitch cardigan but this time lengthways (without a hood or buttons). I bought the yarn last week but need to finish a couple of cardigans first.
Free Self-Care Resources
I think quite a few of us find crocheting is a safe space to get our thoughts in order and chill, away from everyday pressures. I’ve shared my free emotional health resources before but as a reminder, I have articles and linked free resources on my website. If you’re in need of a pick-me-up or want to start a new self-care routine, you might find something useful.
These free resources include; self-care planner and checklist, trackers, journals (meditation, mindset, gratitude), workbooks (linked to challenges) blank postcards, 30 card deck positive affirmations, self-care kit list worksheet, self-care routines and more. The challenges include; self-care challenge, self-love challenge, mindfulness challenge and gratitude challenge.

Bunting Crochet Patterns
If you’re thinking of brightening up your living space ready for the warmer months, these patterns are ideal for inspiration (and perhaps motivation too 😊). I can’t wait to get out my bunting to decorate our decking! I have been having a cuppa out there when the sun is shining (our decking is south facing and sheltered), the time isn’t too far off where we can spend more time outside (in the UK).
I’ve chosen different shapes in the roundup. One of the patterns is paid (which I say in the post). I bought this pattern a while ago and I’m sharing my photo of the finished bunting. I’ve also included patterns that have a free PDF download.
In the roundup I’ve given ideas for the shapes you can use (easy to create your own design) and tips. These projects are perfect for using up your yarn stash.
Have fun!

Coming soon …
Next week I’m releasing my striped cardigan (in rainbow colours) I crocheted in Tickly Tots. I’ve been talking about this pattern for a while so it will be fab to get it out to you!
Summer (long sleeve) cardigan – this is constructed with 5 differently sized rectangles and I’ve used bright colours.
Roundup – tank top patterns
Almost finished …
Short sleeve lacy cardigan (seamless)
¾ sleeve lacy cardigan (seamless)
Filet hearts cardigan (seamless)
Designing …
I’m still considering how I’m going to use those granny squares I talked about last week. I’ve done a couple of drawings for cardigan designs and construction but I’m not 100% sure yet so will let it bubble away. In the meantime, I’m crocheting the granny squares in-between everything else so when it all becomes clear, I’ll be ready to go.
Hope you have a fab week ahead.
